Classification
Our library collection is arranged in classified order. The different subject groups are characterized by one or two letters, for example KA = anatomy, S = physics, VK = informatics. These subject group letters are differentiated by numbers and so the shelf mark of a book is built up. The classification is meant to help you find literature with similar content, for example in topic researches.
So if you have found a book on your topic, the "neighbouring books" might be of interest as well. For your orientation, both the shelves and the books are marked with the appropriate signs.
A room map with an overview of the position of each subject group is in process. If you can't find what you are looking for, please feel free to contact us at the information desk on the ground floor.
